If misery loves company, it has a funny way of showing it, because it often alienates you from your favorite people and activities. Force yourself to get out. Maybe you can’t. But if you can, try it.
- Go to the grocery store for one or two items
- Ask a friend for lunch
- Take a walk around the block
- Go out for a cup of decaf
- Join a support group. Find one in your area on dbsalliance.org (Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance)
- Spend less time in bed
- Exercise
